Volunteer Role: Support Vehicle Driver (Runner Support)
About the Run
In an extraordinary feat of endurance and purpose, Dr. Larry Grogin will travel from Northern New Jersey to Southern California by completing 100 marathons in 100 consecutive days. From March 24 through July 3, 2026, he will cover 26 miles daily—running and walking to raise awareness and inspire hope for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
This historic journey depends on a dedicated support team, with volunteer drivers playing a vital role every step of the way.
Role Overview
The Volunteer Support Vehicle Driver provides on-route support for Larry by driving a designated support vehicle (Honda Odyssey minivan) during his daily 26-mile run/walk, leapfrogging along the route to provide food, hydration, gear changes, and real-time support throughout the day.
This is a meaningful, demanding, unforgettable experience — one rooted in teamwork, trust, and purpose.
