We support initiatives in climate solutions, regenerative design, resilience, and sustainability, and are growing our team to strengthen program management and operational impact.

    Role Summary:

    The WordPress Developer/Designer will design, build, and maintain user-friendly, responsive websites using WordPress. This role ensures our digital platforms are visually engaging, functional, and aligned with the organization’s mission, supporting outreach, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop responsive WordPress websites and landing pages aligned with brand guidelines.
    • Customize themes and plugins to meet organizational needs and improve functionality.
    • Ensure website performance, security, and regular updates for optimal user experience.
    • Collaborate with content and communications teams to publish and manage website content.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in WordPress development and/or web design.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
    • Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg).
    • Understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and website optimization.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with SEO best practices and website analytics tools.
    • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Canva.
    • Experience working on nonprofit or mission-driven digital projects.
