    Description

    Environmental Volunteer or Academic Intern

    NYLCV is always on the lookout for top-notch interns and volunteers. We collaborate with high schools, colleges and graduate schools to help generate interest in the environment and encourage careers in the field.

    We have openings in the following departments:

    • Communications (i.e., writing and posting for website and social media channels)
    • Development (i.e., donor research, staffing special events)
    • Policy (i.e., policy research, issue advocacy)
    • Political (i.e., candidate research, direct voter contact)
    • Programs (i.e., supporting the development of educational events and civic engagement campaigns)

    Qualifications include an interest in environmental issue advocacy/education, state and local government/politics; ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong written and verbal communication skills; and proficiency in Google Workspace.
