    Job Title: Associate Executive Director

    Location: Remote

    Reports To: Executive Director

    Type: Internship (Part-Time) (Unpaid)

    About the Role:

    The Associate Executive Director supports the Executive Director in leading organizational strategy, overseeing cross-functional operations, and ensuring effective execution of programs and initiatives. This role serves as a key leadership partner in driving alignment across departments, improving operational efficiency, and supporting organizational growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the Executive Director in strategic planning and organizational decision-making
    • Oversee coordination across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals
    • Track progress and execution of key initiatives across teams
    • Support development and implementation of internal policies and processes
    • Act as a liaison between executive leadership and department directors
    • Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability
    • Support staffing strategy, recruitment alignment, and workforce planning
    • Assist in preparing leadership reports, updates, and presentations

    Qualifications:

    • Strong leadership and organizational management skills
    • Experience in operations, program coordination, or leadership roles (preferred)
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional teams
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
    • Familiarity with HR, recruitment, or nonprofit operations is a plus
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

    • Ability to dedicate 7-10 hours per week consistently.
