Role:
We are seeking a compassionate female volunteer who speaks Spanish to provide companionship to an elderly participant.
About the Participant:
- Hard of hearing and speaks very little
- Enjoys watching TV, listening to music, general conversation (if able), and reading Spanish books
- Would greatly benefit from someone who can simply be present and offer whole-person care through companionship and kindness
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Spend time with the participant in a calm and supportive manner
- Engage in light conversation and activities such as listening to music or reading together
- Provide emotional support and help reduce feelings of isolation
Ideal Volunteer:

- Patient, empathetic, and reliable
