Description
- 8:00 am start to pick up the transport van at BART
- Get bags set up in the kitchen for meals
- Drive our vehicle to pick up meals in Washburn - clean driving record needed
- Packing up pre-packaged meals into route bags with heat and cold packs for home delivery across the county
- Wait for volunteers to pick up route bags and clipboards
- Wipe down the packing area and food transport containers
- Take transport containers back to Washburn and van back to BART
- Be a positive and respectful person to our Seniors
It looks like a lot of work, but we're dealing with fewer than 90 participants. The process goes quickly!
- Be teachable and ask questions
- Confidentiality is important
- Can accommodate groups, many hands make light work! 😁
- Ideally, having more than one team of 2 to help will help us extend our grant funding
- One person can easily complete the process with good time management
1 shift available:
- Helping set up delivery meals and clean up: 8:00 to 12:00 CST
- Opportunity is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Ashland
