    About Us

    About Ashland Aging

Ashland Aging is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults remain independent, connected, and supported as they age. Serving Ashland County, Wisconsin, we work alongside seniors, caregivers, families, volunteers, and community partners to ensure that no older adult faces the challenges of aging alone.

Helping Seniors and Their Families Put the Pieces Together in Ashland County

With a special emphasis on serving those who are socially isolated and economically disadvantaged, we provide meals, transportation, caregiver support, advocacy, benefits assistance, home repair services, wellness programs, and connections to vital community resources. Our goal is to help older adults continue living safely, comfortably, and with dignity in the communities they call home.

We do this work to ensure that no older adult faces the challenges of aging alone

Volunteers are at the heart of our mission. Whether delivering a meal, providing a ride to a medical appointment, helping with home repairs, making a friendly phone call, or supporting a community event, volunteers help reduce isolation, increase independence, and improve the quality of life for local seniors.

While our programs primarily serve adults age 60 and older and individuals with disabilities, we are also a trusted resource for families, friends, and neighbors seeking information, guidance, or support for an older adult, caregiver, or family member.
