Through storytelling, media, and creative expression, MAP builds connection, amplifies voices, and reimagines what is possible for young people and their families.
About PromiseStudios | Media, Storytelling & Creative Production
PromiseStudios is MAP’s creative and production division, responsible for podcasts, publishing, design, campaigns, and multimedia storytelling. The division brings together content, culture, and mission—producing work that is thoughtful, high-quality, and rooted in dignity.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Production Assistant to support the coordination, organization, and execution of creative projects across PromiseStudios.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes—keeping projects moving, teams aligned, and production workflows organized. The Production Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring that creative work is delivered efficiently, on time, and at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination & Support
- Assist with planning and coordination of creative projects (podcasts, campaigns, publications, events)
- Support scheduling, timelines, and production workflows
- Help prepare materials, documents, and assets for production
Project & Workflow Management
- Maintain organized trackers for projects, deadlines, and deliverables
- Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
- Support follow-ups and communication between team members
Content & Asset Support
- Assist with organizing creative assets (audio, visual, written content)
- Support preparation of materials for publication, release, or distribution
- Ensure files and documentation are properly stored and accessible
Operations & Logistics
- Support day-to-day production needs and administrative tasks
- Assist in coordinating meetings, production sessions, or recordings
- Help ensure smooth execution of creative initiatives
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with PromiseStudios teams and collaborate with PromiseBrands on campaigns and launches
- Support marketing and communications alignment for content releases
- Maintain timely, professional responsiveness via Google Workspace
Qualifications
Required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Alignment with MAP’s mission and dignity-centered values
Preferred
- Experience in production, media, events, or project coordination
- Familiarity with creative workflows (content, media, campaigns)
- Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, or project management platforms
- Interest in storytelling, media, or creative production
Commitment
- Volunteer role
- Approximately 5–10 hours per week
- Minimum 6-month commitment preferred
- Fully remote with optional NYC-based collaboration
