Responsibilities - Finance
- Commit to a minimum 12-month internship, with opportunities for extension or promotion
- Commit to 10 hours per week
- Support finance and accounting projects alongside the CEO
- Assist with budgeting and maintain organized financial records in QuickBooks
- Review, reconcile, and update monthly bank statements in QuickBooks
- Manage Expensify expenses and ensure proper integration with QuickBooks
- Support GiveSmart platform management, including event campaigns, donor records, and fundraising tracking
- Maintain accurate financial documentation, transaction records, and chart of accounts
- Research finance, accounting, and process improvement initiatives
- Promote ASA coaching and speaking services to universities and community partners
- Attend meetings and events as needed
- Support ASA marketing and outreach efforts online and offline
- Maintain professionalism in public, written, and social media communications
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must live in the U.S.
- Valid U.S. work authorization (OPT accepted; no visa sponsorship or cost coverage).
- Are 20 years old or older
- Commit to 8-10 hours per week for at least 8 months.
- Reliable computer and Wi-Fi for a fully remote role.
- Strong knowledge of Google Sheets formulas.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Finance or accounting experience preferred, but not required.
