    Lead Bi-Weekly Chair Exercise Class for Elders

    East Side Elders Volunteer Opportunity: Lead Bi-Weekly Chair Exercise Class for Elders

    Are you passionate about wellness and helping older adults stay active and engaged? We're looking for a friendly and energetic volunteer to lead a Bi-weekly Chair Exercise session for a group of elders in our East Side community.

    Details:

      • Activity: Chair-based exercise class (gentle movement, stretching, light cardio)
      • Frequency: Bi-monthly
      • Duration: 1 hour per session
      • Audience: Older adults (ages 65+), mixed mobility levels

    Ideal Volunteer:

      • Has experience in fitness, physical therapy, senior wellness, or group facilitation (not required—just a plus!)
      • Is patient, encouraging, and enjoys working with elders
      • Can commit to a regular weekly schedule

    Why It Matters: Chair exercises help improve mobility, circulation, and mood. Your leadership can make a real difference in someone’s week!
