CID Night Market Volunteer

About the event

Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA) hosts the oldest large-scale Night Market in Seattle! Seattle’s Chinatown-International District will awaken to a vibrant Night Market. People will take to the streets to mingle and soak in the neighborhood from a variety of food vendors and handmade local crafts. Music and entertainment will perform throughout the day as crowds dance into the sunset.

Night Market cannot happen without our volunteers! Volunteers help support event operations, guest experience, setup, stage management, photography, cleanup, and more.

Attire

• Comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor event work
• Closed-toe shoes required
• CID event shirt or volunteer credentials if provided
• Dress appropriately for weather conditions
• Sunscreen, hat, and water bottle recommended

Additional information

• Please arrive 15–20 minutes before your shift
• Check In information will be sent via email/text a week before the event. Check In will be located near Hing Hay Park
• Some roles may require lifting, standing for long periods, or outdoor activity
• Meals/snacks may be provided depending on shift length
• Volunteers represent the Chinatown-International District community — please be respectful, welcoming, and proactive when assisting guests
• If you can no longer attend, please notify organizers as early as possible
