Description
Do you have skills in Grant Writing? We really need your assistance. As a Volunteer Grant Writing assistant, you will assist our Grant writer in research of eligible grants to help fund community programs among other duties.
Duties are:
- collecting and documenting source materials.
- editing and authoring various proposal documents.
- maintain the information architecture and follow guidelines for all content's organizational tone, style, and voice.
- create the necessary grant and proposal documents as required.
- produce and manage schedules in Spread Sheet to complete work as planned.
- Research available grants
- perform additional duties as needed.

We can work with your schedule. Applications will be taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am. Applicants must be available for 2 hours when turning in the application, for orientation and interview on the same day.
Per California State law AB 506 it is required that all volunteers working in a child-serving organization complete a background and fingerprint check. Adult applicants will also be required to undergo fingerprints the same day (off-site) which is a cash only $30 fee (Minors will not have to undergo a background check).
