About Mentor A Promise
Mentor A Promise (MAP) is a New York City–based nonprofit serving children and youth ages 5–18 experiencing housing instability through mentorship, literacy, education, social-emotional learning (SEL), and creative expression. MAP Connect is MAP’s virtual learning and mentoring platform, designed to provide consistent, high-quality support to students regardless of location or circumstance.

MAP Connect delivers virtual academic and SEL programming that prioritizes stability, access, and meaningful relationships. The program relies on strong systems, clear workflows, and continuous improvement to ensure students and mentors experience consistency and quality.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Program Manager to partner with the Director in managing and strengthening MAP Connect’s program operations. This role supports day-to-day program processes while helping identify opportunities to enhance structure, efficiency, and impact.
The Program Manager collaborates closely with program leadership to support planning, execution, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with MAP’s mission and values.
