    Description

    Grant Writer (Volunteer)

The I Am House is seeking a Volunteer Grant Writer to support our fundraising and program expansion efforts. This role is critical to helping us secure funding that supports women and children who have survived domestic abuse.

Responsibilities include researching grant opportunities, drafting grant proposals and letters of inquiry, assisting with impact language and data collection, and tracking submission deadlines. The Grant Writer will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure proposals align with our mission, programs, and goals.

Ideal candidates have strong writing and research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Prior grant writing experience is helpful but not required. Applicants should be comfortable working with sensitive topics in a trauma-informed, respectful manner.

This is a remote, flexible volunteer role offering meaningful impact, professional experience, and the opportunity to contribute directly to life-changing programs.
