Join the American Red Cross Communications team as a Spanish Machine Translation Post‑Editing Volunteer. Help ensure our emergency alerts and life‑saving resources reach millions with clarity and empathy.
What You Will Do:
- Post‑edit machine‑translated materials
- Use CAT tools for consistency
- Translate/proofread documents as needed
- Incorporate reviewer feedback to improve quality
What We Are Looking For:
- Fluent in Spanish & English
- Degree/certification in translation OR equivalent professional experience
- Strong writing, proofreading, and attention to detail
- Commitment to Red Cross values
- Applicants will complete a short evaluation (writing, translation, proofreading)
