    Mission-fit summary

    Salix Compass is a fiscally sponsored nonprofit initiative helping patients and clinics navigate the administrative barriers that delay access to life-saving medications. We are looking for a volunteer to help with outreach, communications, and light partnership follow-up as we grow our mission.

    Description

    This role supports the outward-facing side of Salix Compass. Volunteers may help draft and organize outreach messages, support partner follow-up, track contacts, and assist with volunteer or board recruitment communications.

    This is a good fit for someone who is organized, comfortable writing clearly, and interested in mission-driven communication. The work is remote and flexible, and it helps us connect with the people and organizations that can support our mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Help draft and organize outreach messages.
    • Support partner follow-up and contact tracking.
    • Assist with volunteer or board recruitment communications.
    • Help keep messaging organized across platforms.
    • Support light admin related to outreach and communication.

    Time commitment

    About 2 to 4 hours per week, flexible and remote, with occasional higher activity during outreach campaigns or recruiting pushes.

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing and communication skills.
    • Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and basic contact tracking.
    • Interest in nonprofit communications, outreach, or community engagement.
    • Professional, reliable, and responsive.
    • Ability to work independently and follow through.
