    Description

    Volunteer SEO Specialist

    Organization: Army Pink

    Location: Remote

    Time Commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours per week (flexible)

    About Army Pink

    Army Pink is a survivor-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence access safe, reliable transportation through our Freedom Rides program while connecting them with resources that support long-term healing and stability.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a volunteer SEO Specialist to help increase Army Pink's online visibility and ensure survivors, community partners, donors, volunteers, and grantmakers can easily find our programs and resources through search engines.

    This volunteer will work closely with our website and communications teams to develop and implement SEO best practices for our WordPress website and digital content.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct an SEO audit of the Army Pink website.
    • Research and recommend relevant keywords.
    • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt text.
    • Improve on-page SEO and internal linking.
    • Identify technical SEO improvements and coordinate recommendations with our web development team.
    • Monitor website performance and search rankings.
    • Recommend strategies to improve organic traffic.
    • Help optimize blog posts and educational content for search.
    • Ensure SEO best practices are followed for future website content.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with SEO best practices.
    • Familiarity with WordPress.
    • Experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Passion for using digital marketing to support nonprofit missions.
