Volunteer Web Developer Needed | Hearts of Care Orphan Project | Remote, Uganda

Description
About Us
Hearts of Care Orphan Project is a registered NGO in Kampala, Uganda. We support 204 orphaned and vulnerable children with education, meals, and healthcare. We also run a dignity program for 600 adolescent girls with monthly sanitary pads so they don’t miss school.
- The Role: Website Developer Volunteer
currently we don't have a website to tell our story. We need a volunteer to help us build a simple, clean, mobile-friendly website that:
- Shares our mission and impact clearly to attract donors and partners
- Showcases the children and dignity program for 600 girls
- Includes a basic “Donate/Partner” page and volunteer form
- Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/week for 6-8 weeks, fully remote. Flexible hours.
- Skills Needed: WordPress/Wix/Webflow or basic HTML/CSS. Experience with NGOs is a plus but not required.
- What You’ll Get: Real portfolio project, direct impact on children and girls’ education, volunteer reference letter, and our full support with photos, content, and stories.
- Why This Matters:
A strong website helps us reach donors. That means more school fees paid, more girls staying in class, more meals served.
If you have web skills and heart for vulnerable children, we’d love to connect.
- To Apply: Send a short message. Tell us why you’d like to help.
Thank you for considering. Together we can build dignity, one page at a time.
