About the Organization | Sisters in Christ: Women of Purpose, Daughters of Promise is a faith-based organization dedicated to creating transformative spaces for women to build their faith, embrace discipleship, and realize their God-given identity, inspired by Isaiah 61:3. The organization fosters a Christ-centered sisterhood rooted in love and authenticity, offering opportunities for spiritual growth, emotional healing, and personal development. Through initiatives like the Vision & Legacy Office, Kingdom Impact initiatives, and Resilience University, we empower women to thrive as leaders in their families, churches, and communities. Committed to biblical truth and lasting transformation, we aim to equip women to live as impactful disciples and daughters of promise.

About the Role | The Development Officer advances the organization’s fundraising strategy by identifying, cultivating, and pursuing funding opportunities from private foundations, corporate partners, and public sector sources. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role is responsible for preparing high-quality grant proposals, coordinating submissions, and tracking funding opportunities that support both programmatic initiatives and organizational operations. • Support the development and maintenance of funder relationships and engagement strategies.
    • Track grant submissions, deadlines, and follow-up communications.
    • Contribute to budget preparation for grant applications and development campaigns.
    • Assist with development communications, including newsletters, impact reports, and online campaigns as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Are able to attend recurring virtual meetings (weekly or biweekly as needed)
    • Intend to remain in the role for a minimum of 3–6 months to ensure continuity of projects
    • Will approach this role with professionalism, ownership, and follow-through
