    Youth Finances Event Volunteer Help Needed on June 9th

    Food, Fun & Finances Event Volunteer on TUESDAY, JUNE 9th 10am-4pm at mHUB Chicago

    Join us in helping create a fun, welcoming, and engaging experience for young adults and families at the Food, Fun & Finances event! Volunteers play an important role in supporting event activities that promote financial literacy and community connection.

    Volunteer Responsibilities:

    • Welcome and assist event participants upon arrival.
    • Help with event setup and cleanup.
    • Support activity stations, games, and interactive workshops.
    • Direct participants to event resources and activities.
    • Help maintain a positive, organized, and inclusive environment.
    • Provide general event support and assist staff as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic.
    • Comfortable interacting with youth, families, and community members.
    • Able to work collaboratively with staff and fellow volunteers.
    • No prior experience required; training and guidance will be provided.

    Time Commitment:

    Volunteers are asked to arrive prior to the event start time for orientation and remain through cleanup. Specific shifts and schedules will be provided upon registration.

    • By volunteering, you'll help empower participants with valuable financial knowledge while contributing to a fun and memorable community event.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
    • Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
    • Interest in manufacturing, economic development, nonprofit administration, or public policy
