In-Office Program Support Volunteer at Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA)

Are you organized, dependable, and interested in helping a small nonprofit program make a bigger impact?

Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) welcomes ongoing volunteers who can provide consistent, behind-the-scenes support for our programs and day-to-day operations. MESA is Boulder County’s sexual violence resource center, and our small team provides advocacy, holistic programming, support groups, community education, and outreach throughout the county.

Our in-office volunteers do not work directly with clients. Instead, they help strengthen staff capacity by taking on practical projects that keep our programs organized, prepared, and moving forward.

Depending on your skills and interests, volunteer projects may include:

1. 1. Preparing support group, Women’s Circle, and other program materials
   2. Assembling packets, folders, clipboards, and outreach materials
   3. Organizing brochures, printed resources, and program supplies
   4. Helping maintain our Heart-Centered Yoga Studio, including organizing supplies, cleaning shared equipment, and assisting with program laundry
   5. Supporting outreach research and community resource lists
   6. Assisting with basic administrative and nonconfidential data organization
   7. Helping prepare presentation or educational materials
   8. Reviewing brochures, website content, or other public-facing MESA materials
   9. Assisting with other special projects based on MESA’s current needs and your interests

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for volunteers age 18 or older who are reliable, organized, comfortable working independently on assigned projects, and interested in making an ongoing contribution to MESA.

This opportunity is best suited for someone who can make a consistent commitment rather than volunteering only occasionally. Schedules may include regular weekly hours, half-day shifts, or occasional full-day shifts depending on MESA’s needs and volunteer availability.

Important details:

1. 1. This is primarily an in-office, non-client-facing volunteer role
   2. Volunteer hours take place when MESA staff are onsite
   3. Volunteers do not have unsupervised or weekend office access
   4. In-office volunteers must complete Clinica Family Health & Wellness’s NEWW (New Employee Workforce Welcome) orientation before beginning. NEWW is an all-day orientation held on a Tuesday, approximately 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Available orientation dates vary by month
   5. Some positions may occasionally include appropriate at-home research or project work
   6. We will meet with interested volunteers before placement to discuss interests, availability, fit, and onboarding
