    Description

Lady Liberty Sings - Volunteer Outreach Coordinator – Choral, Civic & Professional Networks.

Lady Liberty Sings is organizing a national, online protest on Facebook, highlighting threats to due process through song. We are gathering 1,000 + original musical compositions – both professional and amateur from across the U.S.—inspired by the welcoming words inscribed on the Statue of Liberty. This project serves as a digital protest, archive and a fundraiser for immigrant legal defense—with a goal of $100,000.

Role Summary We are looking for a proactive Outreach Coordinator to connect with choral associations, civic organizations, and professional networks. Working directly with campaign leadership, you will drive outreach efforts asking national and regional groups to share our call-for-submissions with their members and singers.

    Key Responsibilities

      • Network Outreach: Research and contact leadership at choral associations, civic groups, and music networks to encourage song contributions from their communities.
      • Tracking & Follow-Up: Maintain an organized pipeline of outreach contacts, responses, and follow-ups using Google Sheets.
      • Community Support: Monitor our Facebook page for incoming song submissions, engage with contributing artists, and coordinate updates with our social media lead.
      • Team Sync: Attend one 60-minute weekly team meeting to review progress and set priorities.

    Qualifications

      • Communication: Exceptional written communication and professional outreach etiquette.
      • Organization: Highly detailed, proactive, and comfortable managing tracking tools like Google Sheets.
      • Alignment: Passion for social justice, immigrant rights, arts administration, or non-profit management.
      • Availability: 5 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
      • Location: 100% remote (Must be based in the U.S.)

    What You’ll Gain

      • Direct experience behind the scenes of a high-profile national social impact project.
      • Portfolio-building experience in advocacy outreach, partnership management, and non-profit administration.
      • A strong professional reference from campaign leadership.
