A respite support visit may entail:
- Sitting and talking with the caregiver for an hour or two about anything and everything
- Spending an afternoon with a loved one in hospice care so the caregiver can run a few necessary errands
- Running errands or doing light housework for a caregiver while they rest
- Engaging with a caregiver by participating in hobbies, listening to life stories, or helping record memories of their loved one
