Operating primarily in Chitambo and Serenje districts of Central Province, Zambia, CHDF works to empower poor, marginalized, and disadvantaged rural communities to sustainably uplift themselves through asset building, self-help initiatives, and inclusive development.

Our thematic areas of focus include:

      • Agriculture
      • Health

      • Propose sustainable entrepreneurship models suited for rural contexts.

    E. Tourism, Environment & Natural Resource Management

      • Showcase community-led biodiversity protection initiatives.
      • Address energy efficiency, water and sanitation, and green economy approaches.

      • Proven track record in writing successful, bankable proposals and securing donor funding or grants.
      • Excellent English writing skills and ability to develop logically structured, compelling funding proposals.
