Help us make the annual Walk to End Homelessness an event to remember!

The Walk to End Homelessness is the New London Homeless Hospitality Center’s largest annual awareness-building and fundraising event, bringing our community together to support neighbors experiencing homelessness and help create pathways to housing stability.

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and community-minded volunteers to join our Event Planning Committee. Whether you have experience organizing events or simply enjoy bringing people together for a great cause, your talents can make a difference.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Marketing & Promotion: Help spread the word through social media, community outreach, and promotional materials.
• Sponsorships: Assist with identifying, securing, and recognizing event sponsors.
• Registration & Fundraising: Encourage participation, support ticket sales and registration, and help engage fundraising teams.
• Event-Day Logistics: Help coordinate volunteers, registration, activities, and other details that make the event run smoothly.
• Post-Event Follow-Up: Assist with thank-you messages, sponsor recognition, and celebrating the event’s impact.

What we're looking for: People who enjoy teamwork, bring fresh ideas, and are willing to roll up their sleeves to help create a successful event. Whether you can contribute a few hours or take on a larger role, there's a place for you on our committee.
