The New London Homeless Hospitality Center is dedicated to ending homelessness by providing shelter, compassionate support, and the resources people need to secure stable housing. Through community partnerships and individualized assistance, we help people overcome barriers, regain stability, and build a path toward a more secure future.

The New London Homeless Hospitality Center (NLHHC) is dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability find a path toward permanent housing and a more secure future.

While our 40-bed emergency shelter provides a safe place to sleep, our work extends far beyond providing a bed for the night. Through our daytime hospitality center, housing resource center, street outreach, employment assistance, and supportive housing programs, we meet people wherever they are and help them take the next steps toward stability and independence.

We recognize that every person experiencing homelessness has a unique story. Some are facing a temporary financial crisis, while others need more extensive assistance to overcome barriers to housing. Our approach is rooted in compassion, dignity, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

For 20 years, NLHHC has brought together volunteers, donors, businesses, municipalities, and community partners to respond to homelessness throughout southeastern Connecticut. Together, we provide immediate relief while working toward lasting solutions that help people obtain housing and remain housed.

Our ultimate goal is not simply to manage homelessness, but to help end it—one person, one family, and one home at a time.
