    Job Title: Document Governance Specialist

    Department: Operations Division – Document Governance

    Reports To: Document Governance Manager / Operations Director

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Governance Specialist to join our Operations Division. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and security of our corporate information. Your primary focus will be registering new documentation, applying precise metadata, and ensuring all assets comply with our established document governance frameworks and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Document Registration: Efficiently intake, review, and register internal and external documents into the central management system.
    • Metadata Application: Tag, categorize, and index files with accurate metadata to ensure data consistency, high searchability, and compliance with data governance policies.
    • Quality Control: Review incoming documentation for completeness, formatting, and alignment with corporate governance standards before final archiving.
    • System Maintenance: Assist in monitoring the document repository or register to prevent duplication and ensure proper version control.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional operational teams to guide them on standard submission processes and metadata requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in records management, document control, or data administration.
    • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Google Drive
    • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of data taxonomy and metadata concepts.
