October Food Distribution Delivery Volunteers Needed @ JRA

Join the Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) for our monthly Food Distribution and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout Greater Philadelphia.

Each month, volunteers of all ages and backgrounds come together to pack nutritious food, fresh produce, and other essential items and hand-deliver them directly to local community members.

Volunteers can choose from a variety of opportunities at JRA’s Distribution Warehouse in Northeast Philadelphia, including packing and preparing food for distribution and helping load and deliver food to families in the community. As a Delivery Volunteer, you’ll play an important role in making sure these boxes reach the people and families who rely on JRA.

What You’ll Do

• Pick up food boxes at JRA’s warehouse during a monthly Food Distribution
• Deliver food boxes directly to JRA clients in your assigned area
• Help ensure clients receive their deliveries safely and with care
• Represent JRA as a friendly and welcoming community ambassador

Whether you’re volunteering for the first time or are a longtime JRA volunteer, everyone is welcome and every volunteer makes an impact.

Who can volunteer: Individuals, families, groups, students, and corporate teams are all welcome.

OCTOBER DELIVERY DATES:

• Sunday, October 11th from 9 AM to 2 PM
• Monday, October 12th from 9 AM to 2 PM
• Tuesday, October 13th from 9 AM to 2 PM
• Wednesday, October 14th from 9 AM to 12 PM

Join us and turn a few hours of your time into a meaningful connection with your community! JRA estimates that delivery takes on average an hour to complete.
