As a Community Outreach Assistant, you will:

Identify and research all community resources to develop key stakeholders and community leaders who can offer support and provide valuable insights into homelessness, housing affordability, food security.
Identify and research to find local organizations (clubs, social groups, schools) and partners to hold donation drives to support our programs.
Identify and research local networking events for potential partnership or for the President to attend.
Develop Influencer Collaboration with youth to join forces and engage with BASE on social media.
Develop social media outreach to leverage platforms like LinkedIn for professional connections.
Develop content marketing (blogs, webinars, whitepapers) to provide valuable information to potential stakeholders and partners.
Maintain database of all connections and outreach.
Report activities to the President every month.
Remote, with occasional in-person events and/or meetings.

Qualifications:

Ability to plan and manage work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Must be active on social media, LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram
Proficiency in resource management tools and use of computer software programs to maintain resource information
