Volunteer Project Manager – Cross-Functional Team Coordination

    Organization

    Army Pink

    Role Summary

Army Pink is seeking a highly organized and proactive volunteer Project Manager to help coordinate and manage progress across multiple active teams as we prepare for our next major phase of launch.

This role is for someone who can step in as a central organizing force across the initiative, helping ensure that communication stays strong between teams, that priorities remain clear, and that projects continue moving forward toward important milestones.

The Project Manager will help oversee progress across multiple areas, including social media, communications, website and wellness portal development, community-building, fundraising preparation, and broader launch coordination. This person will help ensure that volunteers across departments are aligned, working from the same guidelines, and receiving the support or follow-up needed to keep momentum going.

This is a high-impact volunteer leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing structure, accountability, and forward movement to mission-driven work.

    Responsibilities

    • Help coordinate progress across multiple volunteer teams and active workstreams
    • Help oversee movement across social media, communications, website, wellness portal, fundraising preparation, and launch planning
    • Track tasks, deliverables, milestones, and timelines across active projects
    • Maintain visibility and accountability using Trello or similar project management tools
    • Help ensure all volunteers are aligned around current priorities, updates, and expectations
    • Support communication across departments so teams are not working in silos
    • Help identify where follow-up, clarification, or additional support is needed to keep work moving
    • Assist leadership in maintaining momentum toward key launch goals, including:
      • first-phase social media launch
      • early fundraising activation
      • rollout of core initiative components

    Qualifications

    • Experience in project management, operations, or cross-functional team coordination
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts
    • Proactive communication style and ability to help keep teams on track
    • Comfortable working with volunteers and supporting multiple departments
    • Experience with Trello, project boards, task management systems, or similar tools
    • Ability to help create structure and accountability in a growing initiative
    • Passion for mission-driven work and helping build meaningful impact

Experience in nonprofit work, startups, campaigns, operations, or community-based initiatives is a strong plus.

    Time Commitment

Approximately 5 hours per week, with occasional flexibility during key launch periods.
