Through our Pathway to Freedom model, our programs include Freedom Rides and the Wellness Portal. We are building partnerships, expanding our community presence, and developing the relationships needed to sustain and grow our work.
We are seeking a proactive, organized Donor, Sponsor & Community Outreach Volunteer to help meet critical organizational needs through research, relationship-building, fundraising outreach, and partnership development.
About the role
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys researching organizations and individuals, identifying potential supporters, making professional connections, and helping turn promising leads into meaningful partnerships.
You will not simply compile lists or make recommendations. You will actively conduct outreach, initiate conversations, follow up with prospective supporters, and help build a pipeline of potential donors, sponsors, collaborators, and community partners.
Your work will directly support Army Pink’s fundraising and organizational growth, with an immediate focus on Los Angeles.
Key responsibilities

- Corporate sponsorships: Research businesses, corporate social responsibility programs, employee giving programs, and companies that may be interested in sponsoring or supporting Army Pink.
- Influencer and creator outreach: Identify relevant influencers, content creators, public figures, and advocates who may help raise awareness, share Army Pink’s work, or support fundraising campaigns.
- Los Angeles community outreach: Research and contact local organizations, community leaders, businesses, civic groups, and potential strategic partners.
- City and public-sector outreach: Identify relevant Los Angeles city officials, district offices, public agencies, and community representatives for potential introductions, meetings, letters of support, and partnership discussions.
- Research and prospect development: Build organized prospect lists with contact information, relevant background, potential alignment, and recommended next steps.
- Direct outreach and follow-up: Draft personalized emails and messages, initiate contact, track responses, follow up professionally, and help arrange introductory meetings.
- Relationship and pipeline tracking: Maintain clear records of contacts, outreach activity, responses, and next steps so the team can coordinate and build on progress.
- Team coordination: Work with Army Pink’s leadership and fundraising and outreach team to prioritize prospects, share findings, and move promising relationships forward.
