    Description

DisCo at the Capitol: California Disability Community Advocacy Conference

The Arc of California is partnering with Easterseals and United Cerebral Palsy to host their annual DisCo at the Capitol: California Disability Community Advocacy Conference on May 19, 2026, at the State Capitol in Sacramento, CA. The event attracts people in the disability community from all across the state, including many with developmental disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc.. Attendees will enjoy a Capitol Rally and Silent DisCo and meet with legislators from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

We need at least 10 volunteers and we are very flexible on the amount of hours being volunteered and the tasks. We will need people to work the check-in table, to help direct parking, to work the buffet table, to set up, and to break down each day. Thank you for your interest!
