Marketing Help – For Preventative Search and Rescue Organization (PSAR)

Overview

I’m building out the PSAR Initiative to reduce outdoor trauma, injuries, rescues and deaths in the Catskills, NY area. The goal is simple. Get useful information in front of people before something goes wrong. NOTE: You don't have to be from this area or even know the area. I can get you up to speed really quickly.

Right now there’s no real marketing. No social media, no real traffic, no newsletter yet. We are looking for people to help us get out there and be seen.

What I’m looking for

Looking for someone creative who wants to help build that side of it from scratch.

This isn’t a boxed-in role. If you’ve got ideas around getting attention, traffic, or building something from zero, this is where it fits.

What you could work on

• Getting traffic to the website
• Building and testing social media from zero
• Figuring out how to get people to sign up for a future newsletter
• Ideas around getting people interested in donating
• SEO, content distribution, or anything else that actually moves things

If you’re good at one of these, great. If you want to try a mix, also fine.

What this looks like

Try things. See what gets attention. Build on what works.

There’s no locked system here yet, which is the point.
