    Role Type: Intermediate Learning Opportunity (Unpaid)

    Reports To: Public Relations (PR) Manager

    Work Environment: Remote

    Position Summary

    The Public Relations (PR) Specialist participates in a hands-on learning experience focused on executing the day-to-day tactical tasks of public relations campaigns. This role provides practical exposure to media outreach, press materials, storytelling, and campaign coordination within a guided, educational program environment.

    Learning Focus Areas

    Participants in this role will gain exposure to:

    • Tactical execution of PR campaigns
    • Media outreach and relationship building
    • Press release drafting and media kit development
    • Story pitching and follow-up coordination
    • Brand messaging alignment and monitoring

    Program Activities

    Participants may engage in:

    • Assisting with the development and distribution of press materials
    • Supporting media outreach and pitch coordination
    • Monitoring media coverage and compiling reports
    • Contributing to campaign execution and tracking
    • Collaborating with the Social Media, Creativity, and Marketing teams
    • Engaging in practice-based PR exercises and feedback sessions

    Participation Expectations

    • Engage consistently in program activities and team collaboration
    • Maintain professional communication with media contacts and internal teams
    • Deliver assigned tasks with attention to detail and brand consistency

    Qualifications

    Education / Background

    Candidates may include students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals interested in communications, public relations, or marketing.

    • Strong written communication and storytelling skills
    • Attention to detail and organizational ability
    • Interest in media relations and campaign execution
    • Professional demeanor and brand alignment mindset

    Work Environment

    This is a fully remote learning environment involving structured campaign tasks, team collaboration, and guided PR activities.

    Program Nature
