Hill Family Biking is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for family cycling, active transportation, and street safety infrastructure in Washington, D.C. To date, we have hosted over 60 free community events, bringing together hundreds of residents for joyful, community-building rides and block parties. As we continue to grow and expand our programming, we are looking for a creative volunteer to help us inspire even more families to get rolling!

    • Create print-ready collateral such as flyers, posters, and stickers for community distribution.

    • Collaborate with our organizing team to ensure deliverables meet event timelines and community engagement goals.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Proficiency in standard graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma).
    • An eye for clean, modern, and engaging design that resonates with diverse community audiences, families, and neighborhood advocates.
    • Strong communication skills and reliability.
    • A passion for street safety, active transportation, or community building in Washington, D.C. is a huge plus!
