    Description

    Volunteer Opportunity- Atlanta Safe Space Saturday (Mental Health Field Day)

    Black Girls Smile Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to support Safe Space Saturday: Mental Health Field Day, a community event for teens ages 13–17 and their parents. This uplifting event is designed to promote mental wellness, connection, movement, and joy through engaging workshops and family-friendly activities.

    Volunteers will help create a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment for attendees while assisting with event flow and activities throughout the day.

    Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

    • Assisting with event setup and breakdown
    • Greeting and checking in guests
    • Supporting mental health workshop logistics
    • Helping coordinate field day activities and relay races
    • Guiding attendees to activity areas, food, and Parent Corner
    • Creating a warm, positive, and safe experience for families

    Who We’re Looking For:

    We’re looking for volunteers who are dependable, friendly, organized, and passionate about supporting youth, families, and mental wellness in the community.

    Interested volunteers should submit their interest through Idealist and include any relevant experience working with youth, families, or community events. Selected volunteers will be contacted with next steps, event details, and shift information.
