Description
Help keep our drainage ditches free of trash while enjoying a walk outside! We’re looking for adult volunteers to cleanup around the drainage ditches in Fargo and Moorhead. This involves getting close to the water and using pickers to collect trash, primarily food and beverage containers and plastic.
Some information our staff will need to help get you registered:
- What date and time work best for you? (daylight hours only, set aside about 2 hours)
- Do you have a preference on a location? See Fargo maps here https://www.riverkeepers.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/2025-Fargo-Drain-Clean-Up-Maps.pdf. Please email to inquire about Moorhead sections.
- How many people will join you?
Once the above information is figured out, an agreement form will be signed and volunteers will receive supplies and a map of their assigned stretch.
