Description
Role Responsibilities:
- Co-facilitate or lead online parent support groups in Spanish (with some English as needed)
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive virtual environment
- Encourage participation and peer-to-peer support among parents
- Follow PHP’s peer-led support model and group guidelines
Ideal Candidate:
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Experience in group facilitation, parenting education, or community work (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable using virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom)
- Compassionate, dependable, and culturally sensitive
Time Commitment:
- Weekly or biweekly virtual sessions (schedule flexible)
- Participation in orientation/training
About the Program:
Parents Helping Parents (PHP) empowers parents to nurture children and build stronger families through peer-led support. In collaboration with the Family Resource Center of Chelsea, this program aims to expand access to support for Spanish-speaking parents in the community.
