Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to offer comfort and companionship to patients in their final moments. As part of our hospice care team, you can provide a soothing presence to individuals who are nearing the end of life, ensuring they are not alone during this time.
Your Role:
- Sit quietly with patients, offering a gentle presence
- Available on short notice for 2-3 hour shifts
- Hold hands, talk softly, or simply be there to provide peace and comfort
- Offer a listening ear to support families who may be going through an emotionally difficult time
Why It Matters: The 11th hour can be an incredibly vulnerable time for patients and their families. Your support can make a meaningful difference by bringing comfort and dignity to those in their final moments.
- Training and guidance will be provided
If you feel called to offer your time and heart to those in need, please reach out! Your presence can be a true gift during a sacred moment in someone's life.
