    Description

    Finance Committee - QuickBooks Admin

    Volunteer position Description:

    IMPACTability seeks a QuickBooks Online Coordinator to join our all-volunteer team. This volunteer position is part of our nonprofit’s Finance Committee, reports directly to the Treasurer, and works collaboratively with Audit Board members.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain, add, and delete monthly revenue and invoice transactions.
    • Review financial documentation for data entry.
    • Run standard and custom monthly reports for the Treasurer and President as needed.
    • Enter Chart of Accounts updates and budget projections as needed.
    • Ensure the accurate use of Chart of Accounts and Class codes.
    • Generate invoices as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • At least one year of experience with QuickBooksOnline (QBO) or QuickBooks is required.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Experience developing and implementing financial procedures, internal controls, or policies.
    • Ability to work independently with accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
    • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Xcel.

    TIME COMMITMENT AND HOW TO APPLY:

    • Time Commitment: Minimum of 2-3 virtual hours per month, including some evenings.
    • Participation in virtual Finance Committee meetings as needed.
