Description
JOIN OUR TEAM
Under the direction of the Marketing and Ticketing Coordinator. We are seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and creative volunteer to support our communications, social media, marketing, and seasonal activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Monitor and help maintain the organization's Facebook page.
- Create, schedule, and share engaging social media content.
- Respond to comments and messages as directed.
- Help prepare, coordinate, and distribute the newsletter.
- Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
- Provide onsite media support during interviews, events, and public engagements.
- Take photos, record videos, and document activities when appropriate.
- Assist with the organization's VMO software as needed.
- Provide seasonal ticket-booth support for Santa Train events.
- Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Interest in marketing, communications, social media, or public relations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfort working onsite with staff, volunteers, media, and the public.
- Familiarity with Facebook and other social platforms.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
- Comfort learning and using software programs.
- Photography, videography, newsletter, or social media experience is an asset, but
