    Description

    Assist residents who are visiting the building and making sure they are connected to the appropriate staff members.

    Location and hours: Pick one location and one day per week

    • 525 Portland Ave. South Minneapolis - Volunteers needed on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    • 1256 Penn Ave. North Minneapolis - Volunteers needed on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

    In this volunteer position, you will:

    • Welcome and greet residents entering the building
    • Connect residents with the correct staff person
    • Use county provided computer to help residents using Microsoft Teams and Excel
    • Use Microsoft Excel to track walk-in visits and track appointments
    • Use Microsoft Teams to check if residents have an appointment and schedule appointments

    Training and supervision is provided by Child and Family Services.
