    Description

Microsoft 365 / Azure Specialist Needed to Build Secure Advocate Access for Survivor Ride Program

    Project Description

Army Pink is building a survivor ride support system for domestic violence survivors that relies on secure, advocate-controlled ride booking, strict privacy standards, and VAWA-aligned data handling. We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 / Azure volunteer to set up the secure access layer for our MVP.

This volunteer will help us create the Microsoft-based access framework that allows approved partner advocates to securely access our ride-booking workflow while protecting survivor privacy and maintaining auditability.

    Primary Deliverable (single scope)

Design and implement the secure partner access environment for our MVP using Microsoft 365 / Azure, including:

    • Configure Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for authorized internal and partner users
    • Set up role-based access controls for different user types (internal admins vs. partner advocates)
    • Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure sign-in policies
    • Help structure a secure Microsoft-backed access workflow for partner advocates to reach the protected ride-booking environment
    • Establish basic access logging / audit visibility for compliance and accountability
    • Provide simple admin documentation for onboarding and offboarding partner users

    What success looks like

By the end of the project, Army Pink will have:

    • a secure Microsoft identity/access setup for approved advocates
    • role-based permissions for internal and partner users
    • MFA enforced
    • documented onboarding/offboarding steps
    • a secure, repeatable access model we can use for pilot launch

    Ideal Volunteer Skills

    • Microsoft 365 administration
    • Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
    • Conditional Access / MFA
    • Role-based access control
    • Identity governance / secure external user access
    • Experience with nonprofit or privacy-sensitive workflows is a plus

    Why this matters

Army Pink supports domestic violence survivors. This project directly helps us create a safe, privacy-first operational system so partner advocates can coordinate transportation without exposing unnecessary survivor information.
