    Description

Pre-K Class Leader(s) for FREE Kids Summer Camp!

We are looking for college students in early childhood, or regular education, or current or retired teachers to lead our free pre-K class at Homework Help and Hoops this summer! The program is only 2-hours a day, and the teachers use a fully stocked classroom with toys at Learning Tree preschool in our on site facility.

Homework Help and Hoops (HHH) is a Free summer camp and lunch program for kids in Collinsville, Illinois that runs from Noon - 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday from June 1 to July 23. The pre-K class goes from 12:30 - 2:00 pm after lunch each day and typically does their own curriculum (leader's choice). They usually rotate for 30-minutes during that time to one other class like Art, P.E., STEM or special activities based on whether they are age-appropriate. (Programming in non-religious)

The pre-K class is kept to 15 or less students (all potty trained) entering pre-K or Kindergarten in the fall and always scheduled with a teacher/leader for whom I am seeking, plus at least one to 2 other adult helpers.
