Community LINC provides transitional housing for homeless families on our campus at 40th and Troost, giving them the safety and skills to break the cycle of homelessness.
While parents are in classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights, their children attend our Children's Program, where they are taught life skills, resiliency, and academic lessons.
While Community LINC Staff organize the lessons and oversee every class session, volunteers are needed to provide extra support! Our volunteer team assists children with their lessons, projects, and crafts, helps prepare meals, and makes sure the nights go smoothly!
We are always accepting new additions to our volunteer team! If you enjoy engaging with children of all ages (we have kids ages 1-17 in our program), then this is the right place for you!
Children's Program meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-7:30, Consistency is key in this position and requires at least a 6 month, once a week commitment.

On the West side of Troost. Look for a stone retaining wall and six brick apartment buildings. Parking is available around the back of the buildings.
