    Description

    Content Creator for Community-Led Charity

Mates Fund is looking for a thoughtful and reliable volunteer content creator to help us share the work behind our community-led projects in Fiji, Pakistan, and Australia.

We are a small, 100% volunteer-run Australian charity working across practical support, education, fundraising, and community development. Our work is guided by the idea of “hands up, not a handout” — supporting communities to lead the projects that matter to them.

This role would suit someone who enjoys writing, design, storytelling, photography, video, social media, or communications, and wants to use those skills in a practical and meaningful way.

    Instructions:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Mates Fund.

We are not looking for a formal corporate-style application. We are looking for someone clever, motivated, creative, and thoughtful — someone who wants the space to make something good and the support to keep growing.

Please answer the questions in your own voice. We are interested in how you think, what you notice, what kind of work you enjoy, and what you would like to build from this opportunity.

You do not need years of experience. Personal projects, study work, experiments, social media posts, writing samples, Canva designs, videos, or anything else you are proud of are welcome.

We care most about good judgement, initiative, reliability, and an interest in meaningful community-led work.
