    Description

Volunteer Operations & Follow-Up Coordinator (Remote)

Lady Liberty Sings is a grassroots musical mobilization collecting original songs and performances to raise awareness and critical funds for immigrant legal defense. All proceeds directly support the Defending Our Neighbors coalition (created by the ACLU and United We Dream).

    The Role

We are looking for a proactive, system-oriented Operations & Follow-Up Coordinator to work directly with the campaign co-founders. You will act as the organizational engine behind the scenes—tracking high-level outreach to artists, press, and partners, maintaining our master timelines, and ensuring necessary follow-ups happen seamlessly.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain the Master Tracker: Create and update a central dashboard (Google Sheets, Trello, Asana or similar) to track high-level contacts, press outreach, and active initiatives.
    • Drive Follow-Ups: Prompt campaign leaders on pending email responses, next steps, and upcoming milestones so no connection is lost.
    • Meeting Action Items: Join brief weekly check-ins to capture action items, assign tasks, and maintain momentum.
    • Inbound Inbox Flagging: Help monitor the campaign email inbox (ladylibertysings@gmail.com) to categorize incoming messages and flag urgent inquiries.

    Qualifications

    • Exceptional organization, task management, and attention to detail.
    • Comfortable with tracking tools (Google Sheets, Asana, or similar).
    • Strong written communication and professional etiquette.
    • Proactive mindset—you enjoy anticipating needs and reminding others of upcoming deadlines.
    • Interest in arts administration, non-profit management, social justice, or executive assistance.

    What You'll Gain

    • Hands-on experience behind the scenes of a high-profile national social impact initiative.
    • Portfolio-building experience in project management, executive support, and non-profit operations.
    • A strong reference from campaign leadership.
