    Description

    Volunteer Teacher & Community Support Worker in Rural Sri Lanka

    Join Akuratatha, a local nonprofit in Southern Sri Lanka, to support underprivileged children and inspire hope through education and care. As a volunteer, you’ll help teach English, assist with creative learning activities, and provide companionship at our preschool and children’s home.

    You don’t need a degree — just a big heart and willingness to connect. You’ll work closely with local staff and experience real Sri Lankan culture in a warm, family-style setting.

    Volunteers stay in our guesthouse, receive three meals daily, and become part of a community dedicated to uplifting children. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference and grow personally while discovering the beauty of Sri Lanka.

    Minimum stay: 2 weeks | Contribution: €125/week (covers meals, lodging, local transport)
