Description
AfroSabor is a Black-centered Afro-Latin cultural organization based in New York City focused on building belonging, joy, identity, and community through dance and culture.
We are looking for a Social Content Producer to help shape how AfroSabor feels online.
Right now, we have the community, the energy, the dancers, the conversations, and the moments. We are looking for someone who can help turn those moments into compelling short-form content that people connect with emotionally.
This role is not just about editing clips.
It is about helping capture:
- the feeling of the room,
- the warmth of the community,
- the beauty of Afro-Latin dance,
- and the spirit of what we are building.
You would help package:
- dance clips,
- community interviews,
- dance tips,
- founder/community storytelling,
- behind-the-scenes moments,
- and eventually cultural and educational content around Black and Afro-Latin dance traditions.
We are especially interested in people who understand rhythm, emotion, pacing, storytelling, and social media culture. You do not need to be a professional editor. We care more about instinct, creativity, and alignment with the vision.
