Role Summary:
The Volunteer Ads and Web Copywriter will craft compelling, clear, and impact-driven content for digital campaigns and web platforms. This role supports the organization’s outreach and engagement efforts by developing persuasive copy that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion across our climate and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and persuasive copy for digital ads, landing pages, and website content.
- Write and optimize content for campaigns across platforms (e.g., social media, email, and web).
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Conduct audience research to tailor messaging for different target groups and campaigns.
- Support content strategy by aligning copy with organizational goals and campaign objectives.
Requirements:
- Background in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in copywriting, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for different audiences and platforms.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with digital advertising, SEO, and web content optimization.
- Experience working on nonprofit, environmental, or impact-driven projects.
- Understanding of messaging strategies for mission-driven organizations.
